Ordering Information
Special orders will take from 12-16 weeks for ordering time. Express or in stock orders will take anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on availability. Other items are stocked and will take 5-7 days to ship depending on the location of where you live. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time for ordering. If you have any questions, please contact customer service.
Order Acknowledgement
We will email you once your payment and order has been submitted. Once your order has been placed, we will send an order acknowledgement email with the expected time of delivery. On special orders such as bridesmaid, flower girl or mother of the bride dresses, the time frame is an estimate of when the manufacturer will be completing the order. Manufacturers do not guarantee delivery dates, so leave plenty of time for ordering.
Backorders
From time to time orders get backordered. Backordered items shipping to US addresses are most often delivered via the US Postal Service, UPS or Fed ex. In most cases, you can expect delivery 7-10 business days after the item is back in stock.
Extra Charges:
Additional charges may incur per the manufacturer.
Extra Size: Usually will incur for sizes 18 and above.
Extra Length: The industry standard dress length is 58” from hollow to hem. Don’t forget to account for your heel height when determining if you need extra length. Most designers will allow 3-5 inches extra when ordering extra length.
Order Cancellation:
Special orders cannot be cancelled; especially once an order has been placed with our manufacturers. There may be a restocking fee charge of 15% for any order cancelled. Please call customer service with any concerns.
Sizing
Sizing varies by each designer. When ordering make sure you go by that designers size chart. Each designer varies in dress cuts. Please refer to the measurement section on choosing the best size for you. The Bridesmaid Party does not accept responsibility for incorrect sizes. If you have any questions, please contact customer service.
Dye lots:
Colors can differ online due to monitor resolution. For best viewing of swatches check with your local bridal shop or inquire for a swatch with customer service.
Fabric colors or dye lots may vary due to each fabric bolt. Each fabric bolt can be slightly different. Please make us aware if ordering more than one dress, so we can process your order all from the same dye lot.
Any bridesmaids added on after the initial order is placed cannot be guaranteed from the same dye lot of fabric. Different designers have their own color palettes so please match carefully.
Swatches
Swatches are by special request only. We will try our best to accommodate you so please call customer service.
Extra Fabric
If you need to order extra fabric please call customer service so we can accommodate your needs.
Delivery:
Special orders can take from 12-16 weeks for ordering time. Express or in stock orders can be anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on availability. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time for ordering.
Rush Cuts:
Manufacturers will offer rush cuts if your wedding falls short of 16 weeks. Delivery runs approximately 6-8 weeks depending on the manufacturer. There is an additional rush charge. Please check with customer service and this will be added to your order.
Payments
Your order must be paid in full at time of ordering. We offer secure online ordering using the major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We will also accept a personal check, money order or cashiers checks for mail in orders. Your credit card will be charged during the confirmation process.
Refunds
Due to the nature of special orders or express orders, merchandise cannot be returned for a full refund. If for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase you may send it in to the Donate Your Dress Program.
Tracking Your Order
Order Confirmation
If you provided your email address when placing your order, we’ll send you an order confirmation by email. Upon shipping, you will receive an email with a shipment tracking number in order to track your package.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping
Packages are shipped within the US using Ups, FedEx or United States Priority Mail. UPS will not deliver to a PO Box.
Canadian orders are shipped via FedEx Ground (1-7 days transit time, depending on destination zipcode). If you would like to receive your items sooner we also offer FedEx Express or UPS overnight services for an additional rate (just select the option during checkout). Shipping and handling costs vary depending on the destination. Insurance will be an extra charge.
If you want your bridesmaid order to be shipped to each individual address, please call customer service and an associate we will be happy to accommodate you. Regular shipping costs will apply.
International Shipping:
International order shipping details will be confirmed as the order is being processed. International rates are determined on an individual basis. Other than Canada, our primary international carrier is the US Postal Service or Federal Express, but other carriers may be used when available or upon request. Customs and/or Duty fees are paid for by the customer at the time the order is placed. Orders shipped internationally that are paid for with a foreign credit card will only be shipped to the cardholder's billing address. Note: Our shipping rates cover the
cost of the shipment only. It does not cover customs or duty charges.
Delivery Information
When the item is ready for delivery, we will email you a delivery confirmation and a tracking number. You will be able to track your shipment. Shipping times will vary depending on your location. Expected delivery can run between 5-7 business days, express shipping 1-3 business days.
We ask that you always inspect your package for damage before signing for the delivery. If the package is damaged but the merchandise looks unaffected, note the damage on all delivery receipts before signing. If the package is damaged and looks like the merchandise may be damaged, please refuse delivery and call our Customer Service department.
Refunds & Returns
Our Guarantee
We are committed to helping with your purchase by providing you with both exceptional products and customer service. We take pride in offering the highest-quality products. The Bridesmaid Party cannot offer any refunds on special or express orders. Once your special order has been placed with the manufacturer, we are unable to make any changes per conditions of our vendors.
If you are not completely satisfied with your item for any reason, please email us at info@thebridesmaidparty.com. A Customer Service Associate will work with you to ensure your complete satisfaction. We feel privileged to be able to help you plan one of the most important days of your life!
NON REFUNDABLE ITEMS
Special orders, custom made, engraved, monogrammed or custom sized items are not refundable.
RETURNABLE ITEMS
We honor a 5 day return privilege on all standard sized or stocked items, provided merchandise is returned in its original unworn, unaltered and unused condition, with tags intact. All returns require prior authorization. You must call and receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#) within 5 days of receipt of your purchase. We allow 14 days from the date of receipt of your item(s) for return shipping. Please repack item(s) in its original box with its original packing material. Our suggestion is to send it insured for the value of the merchandise; and to ship item(s) using a carrier who can provide a tracking number. Shipping, handling and rush fees are non-refundable.
OVERSIGHT RESOLUTION
The Bridesmaid Party stands by its products. We strive to provide the best customer service to our clients and to process each order with attention to detail. Our aim is to produce each order to the satisfaction and specifications of each customer. However, in the unlikely event you receive a defective product or discover an error with any part of your order that appears to be our fault, you are responsible for notifying us of our mistake within 5 days of receipt so that we can rectify the situation in a timely manner. We reserve the right to repair, exchange, or refund at our discretion. After the 5 day period the customer agrees to be responsible for all costs associated with the resolution of the problem; including--but not limited to--shipping. In situations where we agree to reimburse our customer’s shipping costs we will not reimburse for overnight or second day expedited shipping. We do not reimburse or take responsibility for outside alterations.
The Bridesmaid Party reserves the right to reject any returns that do not meet these conditions.

We collect credit card information in order to finalize purchases on our web site. We treat this information with tremendous care. Only authorized personnel are allowed access to customer information, and we do not share or sell information to anyone.

Measuring Tips
In order to ensure the best possible fit, we highly recommend measurements be taken by either a professional tailor or seamstress. This is an important part of the order process. Accurate measurements will enable you to select the size that will give you the closest fit.
If for some reason you cannot get measured professionally, please follow these guidelines using a soft measuring tape. Please make sure to keep the tape snug and not tight when measuring. Also, keep in mind to always measure over your undergarments for the most accurate fit. Bust: Measure around the bust and
back. (The fullest part of your bust) Waist: Measure around your natural waist (the narrowest part of your waist). Note: Items are NOT custom-made and alterations may be needed, which is an additional charge.
Helpful Suggestions when taking measurements.
Bust: Place the measuring tape across your back where your bra line is and bring it to the front of the fullest part of your bust. Make sure the tape meets each other not pulling to tight or loose.
Waist: Your waist starts above your belly button. If you bend to the right that is your natural waist. Place the measuring tape around the back to the front and pull the tape slightly snug.
Hips: The hip measurement is not your natural hips. This is below the hip area near your buttocks. Take the tape and bring it behind the biggest part of your buttocks around to the front making sure the tape measure meets; not to tight or to loose.
Extra Length: The standard hollow to hem measurement for most designers is 58”. Designers recommend extra length is you are taller than 58”. All designers charge an extra fee and the charge varies from each designer. The dress will usually come in 3-5” longer than the normal cut dress.

Monogramming & Engraving
Items that can be monogrammed or engraved online will have an "Add Monogram" or "Add Engraving" checkbox clearly presented before the "Add to Shopping Bag" button. With Regular and Express Shipping and Handling. Please make sure you type in the correct letters for monogramming. Once and item has been placed for special ordering there are no cancellations or refunds on these items.

How long does it take to get a special order?
Special orders can take up to 16 weeks for delivery and is dependent on the manufacturer’s schedule. Delivery dates are not guaranteed since fabric and production can vary. Once an order is placed the manufacturer estimates a delivery date. Expect 1-2 week shipping time. .
Do you do rush orders?
Yes, if your wedding is less than 14 weeks some designers can accommodate a rush order for an additional charge. The charge is set by the manufacturer for speeding up production of an order.
What is the difference between special orders and stock orders?
Special order gowns are made to each order received. They are not custom, but, are fulfilled when the manufacturer receives the order. Special order gowns can take up to 16 weeks to be completed since each order is cut from the same dye lot of fabric.
In stock gowns or express orders can be available usually for a quicker delivery. Ranging form immediate shipment or up to 6 weeks depending on availability.
When should I place my bridesmaid order?
We have tried to make your ordering experience as simple and stress free as possible. Give yourself plenty of time for your order. Once shipped you will need to have time for alterations. Expected lead time 5-6 months. If you have any questions we will be happy to assist you. .
Can we order over the phone, email or mail?

What forms of payment do you accept?
All orders must be paid in full at time of purchase. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You also can mail us a personal check, money order or cashiers check for mail in orders. Make check payable to The Bridesmaid Party.
Should the bridesmaids order together or separately?
Bridesmaid parties with 2 or more should be placed together to guarantee all the dresses are the same dye lot. We want to make sure all the dresses match perfectly. Each order is cut from the same roll of fabric. We will wait until all the bridesmaids submit their order.
What size should I order?
Each designer has their own sizing charts. It is important to follow that chart to ensure you the best fit. Dresses are not custom made to your size. Use the charts to guide you to the closest size. The rule of thumb is to go by the biggest measurement and use that size.
You are responsible for the size ordered. The Bridesmaid Party can only provide guides in measurements and size charts. We will not be liable for any wrong size. All dresses can be altered to fit.
How do I check on my order?
We will notify you by email about your order. You may call customer service at any time to check on the status of your order.
Do you offer maternity dresses?
Yes, we have certain styles available in the collection. We will do our best to assist you with sizing. If you need assistance, please call customer service. Be reassured that you will have alterations.
Can I order swatches?
Please email or call customer service for your request. Not all manufacturers provide swatches, but, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Can I order extra fabric?
Yes, most designers offer their fabric at an additional charge. The minimum fabric order is 1 yard. Please email or call customer service for pricing and ordering.
Can the dress be shipped directly to me?
Yes, we can ship within the United States for an additional shipping fee.
Are there any extra charges I should be aware of?
The dresses are made for a bridesmaid with the height of 5’8”. If you have a bridesmaid who is taller, she will require extra length. We can add length for an additional charge. Also, any other special changes, fabric, swatches will be an additional charge.
What are the Shipping Options?
You may have your shipment UPS ground, Next Day Air, FedEx, If you live in Canada, you can choose Canada Global Express. Please call for more information on International shipping, costs, and shipping time.
How long will it take to ship?
Normally shipping will take 5-7 business days depending on the shipping carrier and your location.
Is there sales tax?
Yes, depending on the state you are ordering from. Sales tax will apply. You must pay 5% sales tax if your item is shipped within MA.
Do you match prices?
If you find the same product online, and not from a discount house, we will try our best to match the competitor’s prices as long as it is from a legitimate supplier.
Do you give refunds?
